Wonder if Butler still has a shot to come back. If this ends Vilma's career then the same must go for smith.

Regular-Season PUP

A player who finishes the preseason still on the PUP list can then be placed on the regular-season PUP list. Such players must sit out the first six games their team plays. I think they keep Victor on the shelf until next season & allow that knee to heal properly.

I cant recall where I read it but he is already running and cutting on the knee; getting into "football shape".

2014 post season? We are going 7-9 this season.

Thankfully we have no need for Smith or Vilma. They both had great runs and are set for life with rings.

Happy trails, Vilma! Sorry it had to end this way, but maybe he can stay with the organization as a coach or something. Whatever happens, I hope he is as successful in what he does as he was with the Saints.
