this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He just increased his YPC for the season from 2.4 to about 5.6. Small sample size since he only has 35 carries on the season, but still....It looks a whole lot better on paper....

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)
I am guilty for booing him after his dropped pass tonight. Then the announcer called us boo birds, haha. I told my lady we aren't booing because we don't like him, but we are just wanting him to prove us wrong, and tonight that SOB did!!!! Cheers to Ingram and hopefully he will just keep proving us wrong.

Glad he is momentarily out of the dog house. I didn't care for the fans booing him but early but it was deserved. Dropping an easy pass like that, Payton put a lot of faith in him. Come on.

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)
One thing I noticed early on was that he seemed to be trying so hard and was even hard on himself after the drop and a "I should have cut back left" moment after a short-yardage gain to the right. Then he got his first long run for a first down to the left that got him the delay of game penalty (BS in my mind). After those instances, he seemed to harness that energy on pummeling the Dallas defense. Good game, Ingram.

yep MI lovers post a thread for every success. That should tell you something. IF MI messed up 1-4 games of 16, Id be fine. Problem is he only does well 1-4 games of 16.

Your not a RB unless you can beat the 1st guy. |
