I was thinking more of the planes at the nearby air base (as in bringing in a butt load of offense) - but your version works good too!

Compromise ... if a C-130 and an AC-130 got together and had a kid, it would be an A-10 Warthog ... low & slow, still plenty of fire power and bff to the infantry. My personal favorite,
