You know Payton has been waiting for this game since 2012. This one has been circled on the calendar for a long time, and then factor in that he's had a year of stewing, sitting on the couch.

Hope so. They are gonna be tough as usual. Kapernick has been figured out and is in a slump but he can still hurt you as long as Gholston is on the field.
This game is going to depend on our offensive line protecting Brees and our ability to stop the run. If we can do either of those this game could get ugly for them quick.

I hope Drew and the offense rips them to shreds. I hope the defense collapses the pocket and puts Kaepernick to the turf all night.

They have Gore, and that offense is scary when he gets rolling. He is why the play action works so well.

I'm hoping we destroy them, but the realist in me says its gonna be a tough one. If we run the ball half as good as last week, we can steam roll them. That in itself is a tall order against their D.

Yes all about stopping the run game. I think all the press screwed up Kaepernicks head.
