How I think rest of Season will play out.

Case in point, the Rams game where he was going home with 3 timeouts in his pocket had the Rams scored that touchdown. I also remember witnessing Carroll attempting a 61 yard FG to try to win a game vs Atlanta at home on the last play of the game back in 2011. Of course it wasn't even close.

The Rams game Carroll came out and said that he was going to gamble the Hawks could stop St Louis and win the game. He didn't want to burn any timeouts and give the Rams extra time. I secretly think Carroll had doubts Russell could drive the length of the field for a game tying field goal. The Rams were blocked every time they went in the red zone so why wouldn't Carroll have faith in his defense.

I was more disappointed in the game plan offensively. The Rams have two premier bookend (and pro bowl) pass rushing d ends and their soft spot was in the belly of the D, so what do the hawks do?? Spread em wide and put our back up tackles on an island against Long and Quinn. Bowie did well against Long (only giving up one sack) but McQuistan was destroyed by Quinn. I would have put two tight ends at the LOS and ran it down their throat with Beast Mode, but word was his back was bothering him (not substantiated).

It is hard for anybody to hate Carroll. Our franchise was in the dumps and in three years he put us in the divisional round with 31 seconds left to the NFC Championship game and this year we are 10-1. The Seahawks are 18-3 in their last 21 games so I am not sure how this could happen if Pete was an idiot. If you are curious about Carroll, here is a great link to read about him..
