I am very confused by this ruling as well.......I could understand taking over at the point where the ball went out of bounds, but this is bizarre!!

Oak,
They ruled it a INT & fumble out of the end zone ... so according to the rule it would be 1st and 10 49ers at the 20.

Especially since there was NO reason for the dive. Get down, lower your shoulder and get pushed out of bounds if you have to.

In defense of White, it looked like he was just trying to get pile on before Kaep could tackle him. Bad luck on us but he better have a short memory out there & never ever do that again.

anytime the ball is fumbled into the endzone.its a touchback if it goes out of bounds weather out the back or out the side its a touch back

Thanks for the explanation....makes some sense now. I must apologize as the rule on this is very different in the Canadian Football League.
