New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marques Colston caught five passes for 80 yards Sunday and set two Saints career records in the process as the Saints defeated the San Francisco 49ers 23-20. He became the franchise’s leader in receiving yards with 7,923, passing Eric Martin’s total of 7,854, and the all-time leader in yards from scrimmage with 7,930, passing Martin’s 7,865.

Colston came up BIG, AGAIN.
Glad to see him getting back into form. Payton/Brees need to keep him out of those tight, dangerous spaces that get him hurt. He will try to make the catches and take the punishment, but it takes it's toll. Over the top with a chaser trailing will keep him healthier a lot longer. He has earned his money on 3rd down, the others need to start taking some of that pressure off of him on the possession downs (ie. Graham, Moore, Stills). We need everybody healthy down the stretch and into the playoffs. |
