Takeaways from Todays Game
1.) Marques Colston is healthy.
- He ran great routes and I believe only had one drop. Plus he showed his sneaky, deceptive burst 2.) Mark Ingram ran good again - I know no one expected him to reproduced 140+ yrds today, but to average 4yrds a carry again today shows growth as a runner on his part 3.) Our defense is really good - They got pressure, held the run game in check and except for the missed coverage on Vernon Davis they played great in the secondary. Rob Ryan has earned his paycheck this season 4.) Garrett Hartley - He made all 3 kicks today. That is all we ask of him 5.) December 2nd 2013 - Is the Monday Night Game in Seattle. If we win this game we finish 14-2 and the #1 Seed in the NFC. Our defense can stop Seattle, I don't see them stopping us unless we help them with penalties and turnovers |

I know they look terrible but ask my Virginia Tech Hokies what happens when you don't take an inferior opponent seriously. |

If one damn player overlooks the damn falcons they should be castrated Jackie Sherrill style in front of the whole team.
I want a 60 burger against those jerks |

Number 5, number 5, and then, number 5 again.
If we take care of the ball, we beat this team 38-13 ish. We out paced them in every category...TOP, Passing, running and defense. Our defense is really coming into their own. If we clean up the turnovers, it will be hard for other teams to keep up. A very nice win. I hate the nail biters but I'll take it. |

I like the position we are in though, to even have the FClowns be in the "not-so-worried" category this year. A Sunday is a Sunday, even if it's Thursday.
I'm worried about Greer. Hope he is OK. That injury looked real bad -- like out for the season bad. |

SF's receiver's suck, but I thought White and Carr looked okay |

Re: Takeaways from Todays Game
We cannot overlook the Falcons, panthers, Bucs, or Rams. Division games are always tough. Carolina seems to always give us trouble and their D is the real deal. We tend to always screw the pooch against the Rams and even Tampa has been playing pretty damn physical. Beating Seattle doesn't automatically mean squat. We could just as easily lose out. We won't, but Seattle is not the only good team we have left to play. In fact I'm not convinced they are even the best team we have left to play.

Re: Takeaways from Todays Game
Colston and Graham are money.
Thomas and Ingram CAN run the ball when given the opportunity. The defense is ballin. Hartley rose to the occasion. The Saints need a punt returner. I would like to see Stills give it a shot. Bad injury for Greer. The young guys need to step up. Maybe Nnamdi. Vaccaro needs to sit atleast one more game. Hopefully ready for Seattle. |
