I don't think the Kaepernick going out of bounds play was much of a big deal.
The Saints were more than comfortable with lots of time left on the clock (at the 25 yard line with 35 seconds to go, when we decided to take more time off the clock before the next snap and basically run one more pass play). Teams adjust to what they given. The Saints would have been quicker to run that last play had we been with 1 less timeout. |

True, that was at the 1:40 mark. It still would have given us over 60 seconds. It only took us 50 seconds to drive to the 25.
