What's up with the hate??
Idk about you but I'm ecstatic after our win over the 49ers. But apparently a lot of people lost some money due to the Saints victory, because everybody on the NFL network seems pissed about it. Everyone is focusing on Brooks penalty on Brees. Neglecting the fact that our defense shut them out the entire game. And the only reason it was a close game was because of mental mistakes that led to costly turnovers, thus; giving the Whiners extremely short field positioning. Whiners scored 17 points off of turnovers, while the Saints should of received 7 points from Kap's int. This tells ANYBODY who watched the whole game (and not just the highlights like everybody on the NFL Network) that this game should not of been close.

Re: What's up with the hate??
They would have had the ball backed up in their endzone again. We could have made any number of plays to get the ball right back or score. There were more than 3 minutes left. Their O was doing absolutely nothing. We likely would still have been able to win the game.

Re: What's up with the hate??
Other things to consider:
1. The playclock hit zero on two different occasions BEFORE the 49ers snapped the ball. Neither situation was called for a delay of game penalty. 2. That was a completely BOGUS phantom PI call on Corey White in the third quarter, which sustained a 49ers drive which led to a field goal. Complete change of momentum there. 3. The penalty on Brooks was completely legitimate. The 49ers have a culture of whining whereas we have a culture of winning. |

Re: What's up with the hate??
We made unusual mistakes. The 49ers literally scored 17 of their 20 points off of our turnovers. If we would've played our normal game Sunday, we would've slammed them by 21+.
I thought our D had their best game of the season so far against the 49ers. Our offense has to tighten up some things, but they are coming together as well. The last couple weeks, our running game has start to come alive wish is a very positive sign. I'm glad we can win those slugfest-type games though. Shows our team has grit. |

Re: What's up with the hate??
This is the same media that forced the NFL to change the rule regarding overtime play.
There are certain players and teams that must be protected at all costs. How dare the Saints end the game on a field goal and not give God's gift to football Brett Favre a chance? What kind of world are we living in if we allow that to happen? The 49ers must be protected at all costs. It's not good business for the NFL if they aren't relevant. Look for a rule change in the off season that allows teams to challenge the penalty for a personal foul on the QB (hitting in the neck/head area rule). It's going to happen. It must be, since the 49ers got "jobbed". |

The defense overall was stellar. I thought the offense moved the ball rather well and Sean called a great game. Who knew passing the ball to Hill was better than handing it off to him. |

So you have about a 1s delay where his eyes go from the clock to the ball.. |

The only game that I have ever seen that the refs definitely effected the outcome of the game was the Patriots game this year. That was horrible. Absolutely horrible. We won that game and we are the better team and got totally screwed out of it. I have never once in my life *****ed about the refs. Not once, but that Patriots game was just pathetic. |
