My Thoughts On Next Year
Well I have sat here long enough today and read all of your post, so let me see where to start.
All of you fair weather fans just need to stop with the whole this player can’t play and that player can’t catch BS. You sit and say that you are tired of Cheering for the Saints because the “Season is done�, once again I say BS. I‘ve been guilty of wanting to point the finger my-self until I came to the realization that maybe the team isn’t producing because of the coaching staff. (And I know that we have all agreed that it is the coaching). Haslett’s playoff win was a result of what Ditka had done the three years previous. MM and Haslett have already tangled? I think that a lot of the players refuse to play under Haslett. We all want to bash Brooks, but wait before you do think about this. What if we actually got Romeo as a coach and a new staff, do you think that he could turn this team around? He would come here with the respect of the players, (which Haslett don’t have). And then I think that AB could be a top 5 QB and the receivers would step up as well. Find a D cord. That was tuff on his player like Ditka was and make them work for their spot on the roster. You want to write off players that will one day be stars in the league if its with the Saints or another team, and then you will say I wish we had Brooks back. So think about all the intangibles before posting you anti-player post. We know it’s the coaching and just like you at work you do what your boss tells you to do! |

My Thoughts On Next Year
It\'s not often but I agree with you Gator, as a fan of this team from day one, if I were in the Dome watching this team, I\'d boo also. Not anyone in particular but the complete team effort. These guys will never play for Haslett,McCarthy or Venturi there\'s no respect for them. Hell it\'s obvious that the fans,or at least most of them don\'t respect them. I love this team, I will support them as long as I live, but I also reserve my right to show my displeasure in the quality of effort they put on the field. Before anyone gets up in arms, I\'ve spent many dollars going to Saints games and driving 6 hours to see them. So my investment is there.
All I want is I\'m sure the same as the rest of you want, a good solid effort by ALL players,coachs and management. Then if we lose, at least we lost in style. |
