I've got three favorites:
First, when PT caught that wheel pass in the flat on a reverse pirouette - that beautiful move allowed him to get up the field and convert... Second, Colston caught a short in and stiff armed his way to a first down - this was reassuring because I want us to be a physical team come playoff time... Third, Jimmy tilting the field goal on a post-touchdown jam... |

The final "Fail Mary" I couldn't stop laughing. It was quite pathetic.

Re: Your fav play from last nite
ATL had us inside our own 5 yardline, and it was 3rd and 17 or something crazy like that.
A screen pass to Pierre Thomas, and PT turned it into a first down. |

Re: Your fav play from last nite
I didn't see who it was, but somebody on the D got a *nice* shot on Ryan on that last crazy play with all the laterals. It was in the edge of the TV screen, they just levelled him, plowed into him right in front of the sideline... I think it was even in front of the Falcons' bench, and there was nothing that could be done, because Ryan was a blocker at that point instead of a QB. They popped him good! Great end to the game! Reminded me a little bit of the McCray hit on Warner.

Re: Your fav play from last nite
My favorite play was late in the first half, the falcons had driven down the field, it was third and goal on the Saints 10 yard line. Ryan sets up in the shotgun, he gets the snap, the pocket starts to collapse on both sides so the takes off up the middle of the line. He gains four yards and then slides at the feet of two Saint defenders.
In his house, against his teams arch rivals, with a go ahead touchdown in front of him, he laid down. That'll be one of my favorite plays for a long time. |
