this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Obviously NBC is gonna flex the falcons/packers and pats/ravens and those two weeks we will play panthers. So which week would we likely get a SNF flex game? How great would it be to take Atlanta's second game on SNF ...

Which SNF week
Obviously NBC is gonna flex the falcons/packers and pats/ravens and those two weeks we will play panthers. So which week would we likely get a SNF flex game? How great would it be to take Atlanta's second game on SNF lol?
I think I see week 13 and 15 like this Giants@Redskins-I think this doesnt get flexed there's not any better options Bengals@Steelers-Will stay the same because this game is now gonna have merit and possible playoff implications for Pittsburgh. Also no better options. Week 14's options among contenders(Seahawks/49ers Fox big game) Panthers/Saints Lions/Eagles Colts/Bengals Week 16's options Saints/Panthers Bears/Eagles Colts/Chiefs I think eagles won't get love here. One of those colts games I believe will be SNF and to me it might make sense to put Luck and Dalton on SNF than Luck and Smith. So this is interesting. I have been thinking week 16 on the road instead of week 14. But NBC will make the decision soon. |

Week 14 is too easy.
All of America will want to see that vaunted Saints offense playing at home go up against arguably the best defense in the NFL. Week 16 will go to either of the other 2 games you have listed other than the Saints/Panthers. They simply won't show the same game 2 weeks apart. |

Re: Which SNF week
Its not so much as being like that. Dalton and Luck are the future AFC rivalry playing on two division leaders and that game is a battle towards determing seeding. NBC would eat this up. Chicago would have to win out for that eagles game to even matter unless the lions lose on Thanksgiving again. I see Chicago losing at home to Dallas at least and tomorrow is tricky but rams just came off a big win and I feel Chicago is going to run Forte down their throats to keep the rams at bay.

Re: Which SNF week
and KC and Indy does have implications as well. Its basically Indy playing for the 2 seed possibly and KC playing for the division.

Wk 16 I see them doing the Colts/Chiefs.
14 is most likely a Car/No flexed game. |

No I am not playing Devil's Advocate. KC just lost today so that changes things. It will be more clearer after the game tonight.

Re: Which SNF week
Even though Saints vs. Panthers will be the best game on the schedule both weeks, there's no way they put the same teams on twice in 3 weeks. My guess is they flex the Week 14 game. That can be good for us because we all know how the Saints play at home in primetime games.
