Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
I see it as an excuse not to give us the respect we deserve. But actions speak better than words or something like that. Is it Dec 2nd yet?

If we dont have the best record, I dont see anyone beating you, and we'll end up back in whatever you call your stadium, if we're going to New York. We, on the other hand face Carolina twice, who punked us both games last year. Ive never seen us contain Cam Newton, the best running back behind center in the NFL. And apparently, their defense is better than last year. Not to mention there's a lot of ugliness between us and the Panthers. They, like Atlanta, have zero problem getting motivated for us. Our homers will say, "We're so much more talented." Well so is Cher, but she cant cover Steve Smith. The Rams knocked off the Colts in their House. The Bucs just knocked off the Lions. Anyone who thinks they're just going to roll over and play dead for us probably has a good view of their own colon. All that, and our Offense has gotten on track exactly once this season. (Dallas) The rest of our wins we're solid defense, with a few patchwork, put-together-with-bubble-gum offensive drives & assorted miracles. Much of the time, we look like stooges on offense. We have a nasty habit of getting stuffed in short yardage situations. (we're the only team you'll ever see PASS on 3rd & Goal from the 2 inch line) Drew Brees averages 2 decapitation hits per game, thanks to our very average O-line. My fellow WhoDAts seem to have put their division crowns on prematurely, as we still have to face Carolina, and then keep our jocks on straight vs. 3 other teams. Im not even sure we've clinched a place in the playoffs. So Yes, Seattle is a MUST- WIN to me. Its an early playoff game. Its early Christmas to a fan. Reality says Yall look like a tough mountain to climb. And yet, we do have some very potent guns. If we ever get our dance steps in order, if we ever get our sh** together, if we get our heads our of our ass and come in ready to rock, even if you're defense is on, even at home, even in the rain-- you're dead. Researchers have studied Drew Brees head. This, apparently is how he views the world: http://i586.photobucket.com/albums/s...rminator13.jpg Enjoy the fight. Lets play ball. |
Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
If my math is correct, the Saints are 26-24 outdoors since Payton took over. The Dome is their advantage. Can they win outdoors? Sure. My guess is most teams road records probably aren't that good over the same span.

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
It is a weird year.
I would take the #5 or #6 seed to win over ANYONE who will win the North or East. That being said, if Seattle were to get the #1 seed, they will likely see SF or Carolina at their house. Either of those teams have a chance to knock off the Seahawks. So even if we end up as the #2 seed I could see us hosting the NFCCG... |

I personally don't think it will be a close game. I think it will be a near blowout that could go either way. Just a feeling.

Beat those reckless Seapigeons, Drew!

Re: "Saints can't win outdoors"
The Reason Goodell screwed us over last year is because he knew the Saints were going to the Superbowl and he didn't want it to be unfair for the other team to have to play in the Dome for the Big Game.
