In fact they did a study and from 2002-2006 when warm cities visited cold cities from week 1 to week 12 they won at an alarming 62% but from week 13 through week 17 warm weather teams won 20% of the time. So this is not a "Crock".

I blame Global Warming.

On another note, Brees and Co. love to bust neat little stats like that. You want an example you ask? Well, SeaChickens, on the Saints SB year they lost the last three games of the year. No team had ever won a SB having lost the last three games of the year... until the Saints of course. Another? Under SP, the Saints are 11-1 on MNF (you can't count last year's loss because he was not on the sidelines).

How about this little stat, before this years MNF game against the Dolphins:
According to ESPN Stats & Information, the Saints have the NFL’s longest active winning streak on "Monday Night Football," with eight straight wins dating back to 2008.

Drew Brees has been the Saints' starting quarterback in all eight of those games, giving him the fourth longest winning streak in MNF history. His numbers in those games are astounding: 308.4 yards per game, 24 touchdowns, five interceptions and a completion percentage of 71.1.
