Congratulations, Saints....
Once again, you've managed to squander every single opportunity that fell into your laps. For God's sake, Cleveland even gave us some help by beating the Falcons! I mean, did this team have any clue that they had a shot to get into the playoffs? Hell, Deuce had a great day, being the first player all season to run for 100+ yards against the Panthers. Even the defense helped us out today. But I've lost all faith in that moron of a quarterback we have and I'm beginning to lose faith in both Haslett and McCarthy. Why was Delhomme not given a shot? After the game he had against Baltimore, I'd venture to speculate that there would have been a grossly different outcome had Haslett not been so damned hard-headed and benched his crappy ass starting quarterback in favor of a backup who has all the skills necessary to start in this league. Something needs to be done. There is no motivating force on this team. And Brooks certainly isn't worth the $36 million we're now paying him. Did anybody notice that in typical Brooks fashion, he was laughing and joking around after the game with the opposing team? Did he have any clue that he had just blown any shot this team had at making the playoffs? I'm absolutely disgusted with this team right now and it hurts.
