Re: Misusing Rookie Safety Kenny Vaccaro
For the most part I agree with this guy. Kenny is a rookie and I think he has help up fairly well. I think also he has to improve he cover skills or not be given the corner responsibilites. It does remain to be seen if he actually has ball skills. There have been many times that he looks as if he does not have the coordination to make those impact plays and is not aware of where the ball is comming from. I hope he devolps into one of the best but we will see. I am pulling for him.

Re: Misusing Rookie Safety Kenny Vaccaro
The guy criticizes Ryan, not Vaccaro.
1. You can't use a statistical comparison of other safeties: KV missed a game, and different schemes yield different statistics. Are we really saying KV is NOT always at the point of attack? 2. He has played different roles bc that's what our D does. Is Gallette really a DE? Jenkins a safety? Injuries force teams to play their best athletes in whatever position is needed. It's called versatility and flexibility, not being 'master of none' |

Re: Misusing Rookie Safety Kenny Vaccaro
No denying that Vaccaro is a good player with the potential to be an awful better. The aticle says so really.
However at this time Vaccaro is following instructions for the benefit of the team. You know, I would be going pretty mental about it but the TEAM defence is working so instead I whooping it up. |
