Football Season is OVER. I couldn't give a rat's ass who wins or loses anything from here on out. I would take free tickets to a Saints home game, over free tickets to a SuperBowl without the Saints anyday. And you can bet your last dollar on that one, bud.
The Saints are the BEST... no matter what.
Geaux Saints!!!!!
I'm already planning next years opening game BBQ.

In a \"strange\" kinda way, I understand exactly how you feel!

the saints have done it again!! i am in tampa bay, but i am from new orleans, and you know what they say,..home is where the heart is! but the saints have stumped on my heart for the last freakin\' time. brooks has not done squat since signing his contract(check his stats since his big payday), i personnally think he has some type of mental problem as he continues to act non-chalant when loosing games. i know true warriors smile in the face of adversity, but brooks is pathetic!!! haslett was a decent defensive player, but his coaching sucks, his staff sucks, and his favorite player, brooks, really sucks!!! poor duece bust his ass week in and week out, and horn and stallworth are potentially two of the best receiving tandums in football..but mr. brooks has his head so far up his own ass, that hasllet\'s head can hardly fit! who dat? who dat? who dat say they gonna beat dem saints?!... the goddamn bengals!!!! i guess i can be thankful that i do have a good team where i live, or i would have to endure a longer off season than the teams who play to when!!!

I am a Louisiana native living in Nashville and once again I find myself being crushed by what should...could..and would have been if only the Saints pulled through. When I think of NFL bottom feeders the Saints are truly the mud sucking carps !! Can anyone tell me why Benson didn\'t call down and encourage \"Hasbeen\" to switch QB\'s ? After coming back to root for the Saints year in and year out... I just don\'t know if I can take another season of heartbreak !

gator u have given up?
ok people, look at it this way, no one expected our team to even have a shot at the playoffs and that next year would be our year, so guess what, next year is still on the way, and we should all look forward to it

Thank you Pakowitz --
This was a year the Saints were supposed to be .500 at best. All the \"experts\" passed on the Saints early on. This is a young team which happened to have a TERRIBLE defense. Sure I\'m pist off about the way it all fell apart, but I\'m not about to give up.

Yeah well....all that being said...when you\'re tied for the best record in the NFL and you lose to teams with absolutely abysmal records, that can\'t be attributed to the defense. When you beat Green Bay and then lose to Detroit, that shows signs of a team with a false sense of arrogance. Arrogance is justified when you can back it up, and needless to say the Saints didn\'t. It all stems from JH...who\'s become a fat cat after winning Coach of the Year in 2000. I believe 3 years is more than enough time to see what a coach is made of, and he obviously doesn\'t have the professionalism, or the coaching savvy to make this team a consistent winner.

Pak, Saintfan, are you guys nuts?! Normally, I would agree with you, and I do see your point. However, this team was SUPPOSED to start off terribly against all the talent we faced in the first half of the season (Bucs, Packers, 49ers, Bears, Steelers, Falcons) and show improvement in the second half against the Browns, Bengals, Panthers (twice), Vikings, and Ravens.

See, if we had started 3-6 and finished 6-1, then you could say NEXT YEAR, NEXT YEAR, NEXT YEAR, with some conviction. Do you two honestly think that the Saints will come back next year and all of a sudden be a contender?

I\'ll tell you one thing, if they keep the coaching staff and players they have now there\'s NO chance. I won\'t even watch them. If they just go after players then they have a chance at getting the guys they need to make the playoffs, but they certainly won\'t have a shot at a Super Bowl. If they change both personnel and coaches, then there\'s a real chance. Then you can say NEXT YEAR. Otherwise, seriously guys, how can you possibly say that?

Dude, not Horn. Horn is great. Horn might be this team\'s MVP. The only guy who can edge him out is Duece.
