Hey Saints fans. I came away pretty impressed with your D line when I thought your secondary would be the stiffest test. Drew Brees is a class act in victory and defeat. All I can say is your whole season probably dwells on next weeks game. Remember the Jets butt kicking at the hands of the Patriots and they came back from a 51-3 demolishing to win the AFC Divisional game. Your teams character and toughness will be tested next week. Very good chance we will see your team again. I hope Streif will be OK. Take Care!!

Congrats on the win, you guys dominated us. Wilson was impressive and your defense (although pretty thuggish at times) smothered our O all day. As far as seeing you guys again, I hope so, although I can't say I look forward to that in your house. Good luck with the rest of your season.

Now that i have had time to think on what I witnessed last night.

1. I have never seen to many passes dislodged from receivers hands in one game. They were on us at the catch and keyed on the ball.

2. There were WAY too many catches unearned. The receiver was wide open with out any of our secondary around them.. Free catch.

3. This is a conundrum. Drew doesn't have as much time as he is used to having to throw, some would say that is all offensive line. From what I have seen this season, our receivers have lost some step. When he has time, there is no one open and he has to throw it away.

I spent some time this morning re-watching parts of the game. The O-Line got manhandled. We need a Center and two new Tackles next year. I don't think any of these three are the answer. I wish we had a healthy Bushrod back.

It really is a combination of all three, and I am not sure we draft our way out of it in one season.

1. The oline is suspect a times but they are no where near that bad.
2. Our receivers do not seem to be able to get into a position where Drew can throw them open anymore. When is the last time you heard someone say he threw them open? That was uttered many times in 2009-2010.
3. Drew ignores the check-down that is wide open and at times he could just run forward and slide to pick up 5-7 yards and doesn't.

There were many catch-able passes last night that were not caught. Our receivers do not seem to muscle the defender away.

1. Consistent with what we've seen for a couple years.

2. How much was Ryan, how much was players? And did the loss of Greer or the addition of Harper hurt more?

3. Two things. O line was slapped and crumbled. Press coverage gives our guys fits. It's happened in several games this year alone.

All true Oak. I will cease from defending us in bad weather until we prove otherwise. When our receivers did get a chance to catch the ball it became slippy time.

Oh, and Meachem is NOT a possession receiver. Throw to him while he is wide open ONLY.

#3 has been killing me all season. Drew will try and force the home run instead of taking the sure thing. Unless it's Jimmy Graham going up against a gimped up nickel back I say he needs to take the check down.

Don't lose faith!
Still alot of football left to play. Seattle can lose vs San Fran and possibily lose another game Stranger things has happened.
Seattle is a good team, maybe the best I dunno. But they also lost to the Colts and had several close games. IIRC the Rams almost beat them, so did the Bucs...

They aren't unbeatable
And if we go thru Seattle to win the Super Bowl so be it. It will make he Super Bowl that much sweeter

They are certainly beatable. If seeding remains as is they'd play the 49ers in the divsional round, we'd probably play the Panthers.

The 49ers would give them all they want in Seattle, and now that we've been there once the second match-up won't be as surprising to our guys.

The NFC Championship could be in New Orleans if we take care of our own business.
