9-3
Not much to say about the game. Seattle played solid ball.
Let's get ready for Carolina on Sunday night at home. Has anyone seen anything about Strief? Notable stats: Lynch 16-45 2.8 YPC Ingram 5-16 3.2 YPC Collins 1-12 12 YPC Saints gave up 1 sack and 0 INTs. |
Re: 9-3
Haven't heard, but didn't look good. Kinda weird the way it happened. Hey, not too many teams have done better on Monday night, after a bye in their house. Especially in hell's kitchen. On to the next one.
|
Re: 9-3
Great job on Lynch, he never broke one or even came close. The difference to me was the OL. One QB had all day and the other one no time at all. We are not going anywhere unless we fix that against Carolina.

Re: 9-3
Get ready for "Everyone has thier own thread Tuesday"
That sometimes it worse than the loss. Night folks |
Re: 9-3
I think I'd rather lose, since we had to go and stink up the joint, by actually stinking up the joint. Should we right the ship (and I suspect we will), it'll just give us that much motivation to go back up there and give some pay back.
Props to Seattle. They out played us, out coached us, out physicalled us, you name it. Now lets go take it out on Carolina and right the ship. |
Re: 9-3
It was obvious we were looking past Seattle to Carolina.
|
Re: 9-3
That was rough, but still didn't feel nearly as bad as losing to the Pats. Call me nuts but I think we take it to the panthers and carry that through to the rams.

Re: 9-3
I think this sums it up best, and by none other than Mr. Gleason-
Steve Gleason @TeamGleason 1m Well, that was brutal. Now, time to move on. -SG |
Re: 9-3
The difference to me was the secondary. We can't have Jenkins out there 1-on-1 against wide receivers. Maybe we have to sign a corner off the street or something but we aren't going to beat good passing teams with things the way they are in the secondary. I really thought that they'd be OK without Greer but it's not looking too good.

Good news is that the panthers don't have half the secondary that Seattle does.
|
Re: 9-3
-Seattle is the better team.
-Wilson is really good at what he's asked to do. -It wasn't due to the outdoor facility. -Saints were flat. -The Saints somehow weren't prepared for the noise. -Other than Colston, the Saints WR's are inconsistent at best to simply average. -Jenkins blowing coverages. -Linebackers blowing coverages. -Vaccaro is not playing with the reckless abandon that made him special and also gave him the concussions. Hopefully he can adjust. -Beat Carolina and win the #2 seed. SF can beat Seattle and the Saints can beat the 49ers in the dome. -WHO DAT! |
Re: 9-3
Start off the excited about the game end the day wishing I could redo the game .. hope we learn from this.

Jenkins could be a liability, I wasn't sure how much of that 3 safety base we ran today but we will need to stack the box to keep Carolina's run game in check. We might have to have Jenkins or Bush help White overtop on Gin and have Vaccaro+Hawthorne double up on Olson (I think Lewis can shut down Smith at home), but still that leaves Harper alone on Lafell. Lofton was good in run support, Hicks was good again and so was TJ. Probably good to get a real taste of an option qb as a primer for Scam and the pussies. |
Re: 9-3
It could not have been any worse, boys failed us, its that simple, and got owned.
Thank you boys for us dealing with the dick seahawk fans all week. How exactly are we suppose to defend you ? because you did suck . |

Look we got beat by a good team. If anything, we should still be fvcked up about the Jets. Let's move on.

Re: 9-3
Dont want to move on, we never should have been owned like that

"Night got worse for the @Saints. Source inside locker room just told me team plane may be broke down, and having trouble finding hotel."

Re: 9-3
Imagine the contract issues they're gonna have to contend with these rookie contracts are up!?! They had better make hay while they have a chance, cause it's gonna get ugly for them w/ the net 3-4 yrs.

You pull for our team to win as many as possible, hit the playoffs and wait for the rematch. Yes, I said rematch. This is the NFL. I think after this loss Seattle should overlook us, making a hard fought playoff win against them sooo much sweeter. |

Re: 9-3
Hey Saints fans. I came away pretty impressed with your D line when I thought your secondary would be the stiffest test. Drew Brees is a class act in victory and defeat. All I can say is your whole season probably dwells on next weeks game. Remember the Jets butt kicking at the hands of the Patriots and they came back from a 51-3 demolishing to win the AFC Divisional game. Your teams character and toughness will be tested next week. Very good chance we will see your team again. I hope Streif will be OK. Take Care!!

9-3 is good. But it is nerves times with Carolina going on a surge. The Seahawks game is over. To next week where the Saints must do their stuff.
All about winning the NFC South now. And then play after that |

Re: 9-3
THE SKY IS NOT FALLING CHICKEN LITTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything considered we played a bad game. The weather didn't help, the fans are loud and those two elements showed, seattles pass defense isjust as good as expected I enjoyed watching the game because of the matchups, Seattle played great football Richard Sherman is legit that diving break up on Meachem was a TD, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor were flying around like they were being shot out of a cannon, Hill needs to stop dropping passes he's reaching the level of disgust achieved by a man who wore #58 everytime the ball goes his way it's a complete and utter FAIL!!!!!!! x 100000000000000000000000. Flip the scenery to the Super Dome and I say we win 38-9. This was a big game and we needed to win because I don't want to go to Seattle for the title game, and then go to NJ for the CHIP! We need to play a bit more savvy on defense consider what we do and what they do, we can still be as aggressive with respect to what the opposition does no room for ego's when winning games adjust and be better, what do you think The fighting Cam Newtons are gonna do this week I know he saw that #93 was getting bashed on that read option time after time, after time. we gotta get better coverage from our LB's all their big plays game from bootleg's to whom ever the coverage lb was covering, that and MJ got torched on that house blitz.

But then again if they keep drafting stud middle rounders it really won't matter, they'll stay loaded. Oh and props to the board this morning. I thought the threads would be loaded with the typical cry-baby crap that we saw in the gameday thread. For the most part it looks like we're staying objective and not squealing like stuck pigs. The comments last night were embarrassing. Thats not how Saint fans are supposed to act. |
