Was the kicking game below average in y'all's opinion? I thought Morestead was doing good. Guess its just because we saw him all game

I'm not sure what the exact scenario would be, but home field in the playoffs is determined by highest seed, not by best record. So if the Saints are #5 seed and SF is anything other than #6 below us, then we would go to SF, not have them come to the Dome. While it's interesting, the SF-in-the-Superdome scenario with us as 5 seed, would require NO home teams to win at home in the two rounds of NFC playoffs, not a single one, until the NFC Championship....that's kinda doubtful.

Not necessarily, neworleans could end up the number 5 seed and have to play dallas, which would leave seattle playing against either detroit or sanfrancisco. If sanfrancisco makes it you better believe they will play hard and could possibly beat them. I have been so depressed I never thought of that. That is very likely to happen and thank you I see some light now because after watching what they did to us I know we don't have a prayer at Seattle in the playoffs when it is a lot colder. Damn I cant believe im saying go niners. Im back to being depressed again.

It want matter to me what seed we get, as long as we get one. Come one, come all!!

No, the kicking game was fine. Payton just wanted the pain distributed evenly, I think. It just SEEMED humiliating in all phases.

That's what I thought watching the game --- but that isn't what Drew said in his post-game presser. He said there were no communication problems. Maybe, protecting Payton's decision to use the ear plugs?

Also, apparently, Payton called Farve to ask him how to handle the noise? ANd, Farve suggested the ear-plugs. After the beat-down we put on Farve in the 2009 playoff game, why in the hell would Farve help Payton, especially after the bounty-gate thing? I bet Farve still has bruises.

I've got more questions than answers here.

Only problem with this assumption is that we're supposed to be a very good team and a well coached and prepared team and we get shown up by a 2nd year QB? Whatever helps you sleep at night I guess. Personally, I was embarrassed, and I think the team should also be embarrassed. You want all the soft, finesse team stuff to go away?? That ain't the way to do it. I tell you what, I wouldn't want to go to war with most of these guys, that's for sure, cause you wouldn't last very long. You can try to put lipstick on a pig all day long, but at the end of the day, it's still a pig.

Still has kind of a cathartic effect. I feel a little better now :)
