A Glimmer of Hope.
Okay, so I was pretty pissed off last night, as evidenced by my completely hyperbolic ravings during the game. I did end up turning the channel at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
But there is a glimmer of hope in all this. 1. The NFC North sucks. 2. The NFC East sucks. Therefore, all we have to do is win our division and we will have the #2 seed by default. Yes, this is going to be difficult now, because we face a tough Panthers squad twice and they have an easier schedule than we do down the stretch. So if we do capture the #2 seed (like I said, not a gimme), then we will obliterate whatever team we face in the Divisional. Then it's rematch time in Seadderall. And you can bet you will see an entirely different game in Seattle. The rematch is always a totally different ball of wax. I look back on Jets vs. Patriots, 2010 Divisional. The Patriots had just obliterated the Jets during the regular season 45 to 3. When the Jets came back for the rematch in the playoffs, they threw everything but the kitchen sink at the Patriots and shocked them and the world. So it's possible. We can do it. We just have to sew up the division to give ourselves a chance. And btw, can someone tell Corey White to stop playing like a rookie? |

Re: A Glimmer of Hope.
I never thought we'd win the game. I felt we could achieve a #2 seed and ask for a rematch.
I hate playing division rivals twice a year, home or away, because whoever won the first game has a chip on their shoulder to win the second. Yes we can do it! Anything is possible in the NFL (fake political issues causing suspensions, bounties, a front office run like a Central American dictatorship, etc.) |

Re: A Glimmer of Hope.
Yes we can but ... "leave no doubt".
I expect execution to be a LOT better on sunday. Not sure if anyone has pointed it out but you can expose the kitty cats secondary (specifically safety Munerlin). Miami had the 9 (go route) all day but for whatever reason abandoned it 2 weeks ago. At times Russell made Gallette look silly so I expect him to have a bounce back game along with Hicks & Jordan. The Saints are still one of the most dangerous teams in the league - statement WIN for us on sunday. |

Re: A Glimmer of Hope.
No offense brother but at 9-3 and leading the NFC South are we so success destitute that we have a Hope poll?
BTW.. You need to look at my break down... White is making some people look like they don't watch the games. |

Re: A Glimmer of Hope.
I'm going to stick with my 11-5 for us this season, can we do it:yes. The 1 thing we still got is hope, got to have hope, I don't expect Payton to take it lying down. I don't care about the #1 seed the #2 seed or wherever we land just as long as we have a ticket to try to get to the big dance. Is it going to be a hard road? You bet, I would not have it any other way. Just imagine playing Seattle in a NFC Campionship game in the elements of Seattle and going to the Snow Bowl in that weather and winning, talk about shutting down the talking heads. But 1 game at a time first, 1 game at a time!!
