Re: 10-3 [We could win out :) ]
Great bounceback win tonight against a defense who is arguably every bit as good as Seattle's. Of course we play well at home, but I don't think the Panthers played that good of a game. It will certainly be much closer 2 weeks from now imo. Carolina isn't THIS bad, guys.
We got away from the run tonight, it seems like we ran it less than 10 times all night.. Brees was a robot though, so the run wasn't really needed. Even still, regardless of how good Brees is, I do not like when we escape the run. I want balance. Junior Galette had a great game. He now has 9 sacks on the season, and still not a lot of people know his name. Galette is certainly one of the most underrated LBers in the league. Speaking of Brees though.. Congratulations for being the fastest QB to ever reach 50k yards. Well deserved. Defense also rebounded tonight. Keenan Lewis was lockdown all night on Steve Smith, so was my boy Corey White on Brandon Lafell. Vaccaro was also really impressive, once again. I really believe Vaccaro will be an all-pro safety here in a couple years. He's already the best safety on the team imo, and that includes Malcolm Jenkins and Roman Harper who have both been pro-bowl or all-pro safeties at least once in their careers. The WRs couldn't get free, and the front seven harrassed Cam all night. Very rarely was there a clean pocket for him. Next week, we go on the road to St Louis. They have a very physical defensive front just like NYJ and Seattle, so it could be an interesting game. |

I can't wait to hear all these idiot talking heads try and spin this one after riding Newton's nuts these past 2 months.

HEADLINE: RIVERBOAT RON SUNK AT THE MOUTH OF THE MISSISSIPPI
EDIT: I actually made this into a headline and thread from our site and posted here. YES, sue me, I was dying for some fun after a brutal loss against the Seahawks and capitalized on the moment to "SHOWBOAT" a little. HA HA HA. Love you guys and gals!!!!! |

Carolina should have lost to Miami and NE, but they didn't...so it's only fair that they got exposed in a big game that actually matters.

I agree with Rez full on about them being an incomplete defence, that secondary is bull sh*t. There's a reason Mitchell got dumped by the Raiders for a safety who's a trillion years old.

Not particularly secondary, but I thought Kuechly was supposed to be some awesome LB in coverage? He was nowhere to be found when he dropped back in the middle, consistently abused by Colston, Moore, and Graham...
