this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; is good news. Too bad Carolina and TB are winning. That means we'll be tied for last after we lose to the Raiders. Seriously, though, it's good to see a crack in the Atlanta rush defense....

ATL losing
Some (even people on this board) think Vic is the second coming...have proclaimed what a great QB he is. He\'s a helluva runner to be sure, but he is FAR FAR FAR from being a \"great\" QB. Evidenced by his play today...among other days.

Vick = OVER RATED!!!
He\'s got talent, I\'ll give him that, but I\'m not about to give him the keys to the future of the NFL when I can name any of 5 or 6 guys (just at QB) that I would want before him. One good year didn\'t do much for Maurice Clarett and it won\'t do much for Vick either. I still think that SD got the better of that draft day deal. I mean, LT, Drew Brees (who is going to go to a team next year and be a solid, not superstar, QB) and Tim Dwight. Give them a freakin\' O line and I\'m sure they could work something out. Vick will be good, maybe even great, but let\'s let the man earn his stripes and not listen to the talkin\' heads that drool over him incesantly (this means you Merril Hoge). |
