Re: STILL NEED KILLER INSTINCT
I actually thought Payton showed a fair amount of killer instinct last night. We kept passing the ball and avoided the tendency to get conservative and run the ball after we got a nice lead. Drew was on point last night, the protection was good and they had holes in their zone D so we kept doing what got us the lead.
I wasn't too mad about letting them score at the end ... the D did make them put together a drive and take time off the clock, so in that regard they did okay. |

Re: STILL NEED KILLER INSTINCT
I don't want teams to fear us.. that way the win is that much sweeter. Don't think we've ever been feared as a team only as a offense.

Re: STILL NEED KILLER INSTINCT
I'm happy about the outcome, but why are we not creating turnovers. If we did that we would be unstoppable!!! Have our DBs forgot how to step in front of the ball or get their hands on the ball. No question about it, we need a ballhawk in the draft next year

.. I had to double check my link. For a second I thought I was redirected to Saints Report.
"Killer instinct", along with all of the other war/battle references in football, are just for the fans who like to fantasize about such things. |
