The Perfect Nickname for The Defense
 

I was on my google plus acct talking with fellow Saints Fans and a picture popped up that had the caption of Storm Patrol. I immediately thought this would be the perfect name for The Defense. What do you guys think?

Other than the ghey-ass "legion of boom", how many currently great NFL teams have a damn nickname?

ANSWER: NICKNAMES ARE GHEYER THAN POWER RANKINGS, AND IT AIN'T EVEN CLOSE.

As Mitch said and I replied to the last nickname thread.....

Nicknames are earned from your opponents. You can't start them or stop them.

"Legion of Boob" has to be stolen from Wrestling. Only a complete tool would call them selves of their team that.

What are we learning? That I have heard of only about 6 of those and after the 80's no nick names are worth mentioning?
