San Fran probably won't be the 6 seed if the Saints win out; they would probably be the 5 seed. That would mean Carolina would be the 6 seed (unless Arizona beats San Fran in Week 17--but Arizona will probably be out of contention by that time as they will lose at Seattle).

As a 6 seed, I think Carolina would lose to 3 seed Philadelphia (although they would beat the Cowboys if Dallas happens to luck up and win the NFC East).

I think the Eagles in Seattle in the playoffs is just as intriguing as Carolina in Seattle or SF in Seattle. I wouldn't discount them. The Eagles are not a dominant team but if they and that offense are firing at 100% they can be pretty scary. And they're good on the road; better on the road than the Saints.

The Eagles lack a defense though. If they draft well watch out next year.

They are getting better on D even just this year....the Eagles D has had nine straight games of 21 points or fewer. Again, I'm not sunshine pumping them, but I do think they have some matchups that would be favorable against the Seahawks, since everyone is rooting for some team to take the Hawks out of the playoffs before the Saints have to go out there again.

Look at who the Eagles have played.... Cardinals, Packers (Wo Rodgers), Raiders, Skins, Giants..

If played today Seahawks will get the lowest winning seed, we will get the highest winning seed. Giving the Seahawks the 49ers and us the Panthers again.

I just do not see the Eagles taking out the 49ers in any wildcard round.

right now the two wild cards are the stronger teams of the 4 in the divisional round
biggest factor will be Philly's weather
if seeds hold and SF and Carolina win, we would host Carolina, with SF going to Seattle----
Good match-ups for us
