the Eagles are likely to be the 3 seed; thus, they cannot play at Seattle before the NFCCG (i.e. that would mean the Saints had already been eliminated).

As a 6 seed, I think Carolina would lose to 3 seed Philadelphia (although they would beat the Cowboys if Dallas happens to luck up and win the NFC East).

Funny, I think the opposite.

Eagles cannot go to Seattle in the playoffs because they have h2h tiebreaker over the lions. If eagles were to go 10-6, they'd still be the 3 seed if they beat Dallas. I just don't see them losing to the vikings. And if they end up 9-7 that means they lost to Chicago and Dallas and I don't think Dallas will lose both the next two against two teams not getting in. so if eagles get out of wild card round, they are playing us.

Tbh, I hope we win this week and lose to Carolina. Just because I wouldnt want to have to play them four weeks later if we sweep them but I feel we're sweeping them. Lions hung well with eagles for a half before eagles ran over them second half. Could they hang with Seattle in C-Link?

I'm thinking (or hoping) the beatdown on Carolina is the start of their 1-3 meltdown to end the season, and Arizona boots those Appalachian slopeheads out of the playoffs altogether. Arizona owns the tie-breaker over Carolina, after stomping that pompous panther ass 22-6 in October.

This is setting up quite nicely if you ask me.

Its not out of the realm of possibility that Seattle drops 2 of the next 3 and finishes 12-4.

Its all for the fact that they heading to NY which you never know what the Giants will do, then 2 games vs division opponents.

I am trying to be optimistic here though, I just am waiting for the real Seattle Seahawks to show up like the real Falcons showed up this season.

But the fact is that, if both the Saints and 49ers win out (which is highly possible) the 49ers will get the 5 seed. That is because Carolina will have lost to the Saints again, and will have a worse record than the 49ers (thus Carolina's tiebreaker advantage will not come into effect).

The good/bad news is that we will probably know before the last game where we stand.

If the 49ers and Eagles both blow their easy games at Noon, the Saints would clinch before the game vs the Rams begins...
