this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I honestly believe we are hitting our second wind at the right time considering we have faced the gauntlet of game outcome scenarios and conditions (except OT). Peaking at the right time.
I honestly believe we are hitting our second wind at the right time considering we have faced the gauntlet of game outcome scenarios and conditions (except OT). Blowouts, a real beat down, close games, come from behind games, hostile environments ...you really need that IMO to be a SB contender or experience with it and we do. Some of these other PO caliber teams I just don't see it.
Getting crushed in Seattle could turn out to be the best thing that happened this season as far as facing adversity. If we play in that stadium again, (the deity upstairs willing) the 12th turd will be less of a factor. |

I wouldn't call ATL or Tampa hostile environments ( we have to play there every year and the Who Dats are there in-force ).
I'm not trying to rain on your SB parade, man, but come on. How do you figure that if we play in SEA again the 12th man will suddenly be neutralized? And, please don't call me out for not being a fan -- because NOTHING would make me happier than if you were right. But, seriously, I don't get your logic. |

As far as being a good road team, well we will have to be is all I can see if we want to win!! Have faith!! To take the 12th man out we just have to put a southern a$$ whoopin' on Seattle, Saints style. Have faith you'll see!!

Re: Peaking at the right time.
Seattle is not undefeated. If they can lose in the regular season, they can lose in the divisional round too.
