A league source tells us that the Carolina Panthers are beginning to believe that quarterback Jake Delhomme was a one-year wonder -- and that the team plans to bring in a veteran in the offseason to challenge Delhomme's spot as the starter.

Last year he had a great running game, a great defense, and a lot of lucky breaks. This year his O-line stinks, he\'s got a third string RB, and his defense isn\'t playing as well as last year, plus they just aren\'t getting the breaks. Compare to Chad Pennington last year. I don\'t know if he\'s the real deal or not, but it\'s not fair to write him off based on the last 5 games.

They thought they could win that way.

It has been almost two years now.
If you really want to point fingers, please point to Tom Benson.
I accept it.
He is not the best owner in the league but at least he stays in New Orleans.
I don\'t know of another masochist millionare like that.
I know my expectations are low but try this on for size;
