Maybe he was knocking back some Dayquil on the sidelines.

Funny how having defenders in your face before you can count to two will distract you.

My question is: The Rams have one of the worst pass defenses of late and are down their No. 1 cornerback, Are we not capable of throwing more deep balls to Stills, Meachem?!?

I mean if we're not going to run, at least diversify the passing game and throw some bombs...

Yes they were getting snuffed out just like every other play we ran. I, and others, have said it before "we are too predictable". You could see most of the plays coming. Although the OL played horrible yesterday, Drew did not help them out at all. His inability to make quick decisions, and 2nd guessing himself was very disturbing. The throws in the endzone to both TEs and Colston were off the mark by a mile. If you are going to through a jump ball then the ball has to have some height on it. And WTF was the 2nd INT about? He looked like a high school kid throwing that pass. I can't find the words to express how I really feel about that pass, let alone to actually describe what I saw. And this all happened in front of my wife and kids! I had to poke my kids in the eyes so they couldn't witness what was happening. SMH!!!!

Some of those things the Saints do very well, like run screens.

The Saints had decent success running screens, but for some reason the Saints would just quit doing it and start running the ball.

I understand you don't want to get predictable, but why not keep doing it until they stop it?

When the Saints went to a hurry up, a lot of stuff opened up. I realize the Rams had a decent lead, weren't playing for more than pride and could afford to take chances on both sides of the ball.

It is not about predictability. You run when its late in the game, you are behind, and you WANT the box loaded. Successful or not you want to make their Defense load the box to protect against the run.

It opens up long passes and cuts down on double or triple coverage.

Sean Payton is not an idiot, he knows the game better than this collective forum, but when your players are not playing, there isnt much that can be done.

Drew has been sketchy all year. He has done a lot for the Saints and won us a superbowl but now the effort does not seem to be there. Not just him all these guys are making the money and they are not bringing it. I think its time that this organization starts moving in another direction.

SP tries to scheme his way out things. if you need to run a dbl TE set you run a dbl TE set. maybe he does not have a scheme for that set.

i call it being cute.

Here we go.... Going to get rid of Drew.

He has had 10 total Interceptions, I suppose you want Rivers that has had 9 or Wilson that has had 8? Payton manning has 10 also maybe we could swap horrible QBs with Denver.

His completion % is 68.2 which is above manning and Rodgers but you are right... He needs to go.

We are 10-4... Horrible.

Sooo sketchy.

You have to have more than 2 seconds to throw a deep pass. I wish we would throw more quick slants.
