I know Oregon may have lit the scoreboard up against Virginia, but ask those pass rushers how they felt after that game against him...

He's only had one year at Left Tackle which may put him around Round 3; a little higher depending on Combine and Senior Bowl Performances...

Would love to have a guy name Moses "parting the defense" for our running backs - hey, this schiott writes itself...

Matthews is the only guy I'd move up to get and that will cost to much...
Morgan Moses, ROT/OG Virginia
6056 325 5.28

i think he will blow people way not only in the weight room but on the field. looking at the 40 he should be in the top 5 in the splits to ten yards and at the 40 top ten. field drills - his foot work will be solid but that "can he keep improving at the next level and stay at LT" will dog him. He maybe the one or two at the RT position in my book and solid upside to stay at LT with some work.

Big, long armed, strong, fast quick and nimble. solid blocking skills all around. ran tons of screen in Va, dude pulls and hits like a OG. the kid mirrors people into the dirt. dancing with the stars in his future? lmao who knows he slide step as good as any one in college. shame he played on a team rebuilding and with a coaching staff that well is not the greatest game group i have seen.

I think you will have to pick him in the second in my book. he has to tank senior bowl, his pro day and the combine to be around for us later in the draft. i do not see that happening.

He has handled all comers. Oregon Stanford BYU Pitt Georgia Tech Clemson North Carolina. Teams approach to attacking him by the second quarter was to move their best DE to the other side and avoid him all together.

yep i am really high on this kid. I watched almost every game. there is a weight issue from his Jr year. He played at 255 and was a beast in the run game. dropped to 325 this year. this is a concern but i believe that was due to the coaches and not pigging out on chix wings. interviews will tell.

Armstrong works out at LT and he does at RT we could have some of the most athletic OT in the NFL.

bring on the beauty shows already gesshhhh

right now i would take the gamble in the second

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

Now if we can get a second day pick with a trade and need a player to say replace an unnamed player then I would look at

Charles Sims RB West Virgina
5116 213 4.54/4.44

big, strong enough to make plays between the tackles, yet quick enough and fast enough to take it to the edge. then add the fact he maybe the best RB as a receiver. good chance of being a Day 1 starter. he fits the mould of RB that works in SP system. yep a perfect player for PT to work with.

we will wait for the beauty shows

myself i like watching the games. the WV OL suxed so bad it was an eye opener as to how good this kid is. he has that uncanny level of escapability that is unbelievable. i am not talking about dancing east and west and around the dome like bush did. he heads north and south and can make 5 moves in 3 yards that leave defenders reaching for air. Then he has great hands.

He reminds me a bit of Marshal Faulk i wounder if he trained the same way in the off season? does any one out there remember it? granted the story was early on in his career

Re: 2014 NFL Draft

If Sims shows exceptional hands at the senior bowl, I don't see him there out of the second round - it's become the big separator/premium value among pro scouts...

He may be gone in Round 3; but if he's there in late Round 4, you defintely have to look at the upgrade...

I would have to say Ingram or Sproles. Sproles might get us a 2nd and Ingram a 3rd or 4th.On the D Harper has good trade value, I really like Harper let me clear that up and he could be used in a 3-4. Jenkins contract is up and if it is renewed I hope it would be a sign and trade type of deal or just let him walk, please, but I don't think we would get much or anything for Jenkins to be honest!! Lofton, he would have good value to a 4-3 team. Brees has value but he isn't going anywhere but after todays game and watching the Hail Mary pass at the end I get the feeling his arm strength is in serious decline and in all honesty alot of his deep ball passes have been short this season!! So let the bashers start bashing!!
