Re: 2014 NFL Draft
The blood lines between Nick Toon and his father aren't very strong, but Matthews looks legit.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
Toon was taken off the showroom floor rather quickly. I thought we might see him again but I doubt he is on this team next season to be honest.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
ok where did i put that dam thing. brb i need to drag something to the post
![]() There now that i have all my props 1) Cap issues are best addressed thru the draft. Trade out of round one, which given our latest road show is looking to be worth more, for additional picks in round 2 and 3 2) trade players from areas of depth for more picks and/or players you target in FA in 2015. always best to get them in that final year if you can 3) let fan fav walk in FA if you have too Vacarro has not shown himself to be a TRUE FS. What he looks to be is a modern day SS. like Jenkins. we do not have a ball hawking hard hitting FS on this team I am waiting for the declare list but right now i am once again wishing for multi picks on day two of the draft |

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
A starting caliber ILB, a starting caliber FS, I think V is going to make the best SS in the league but we need a ball hawk in the backfield. O-line needs road graders that can protect during the pass and muscle up in the run. Only if a great D player is in the 1st, I also would not mind trading our 1st for more 2nd round picks. I also would not mind another DT to go along with J. Jenkins in the later rounds, might get real lucky. We will need help moving forward in the 3-4.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
good question. given the play of the oT and the player we keep active i have to look at him as a bust yet again in 2014. he needs to see the field if he is going to worth anything to us. so till then bust in my book

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
Cyril Richardson, OT/G, Baylor
still think he might pull of being a RT in the NFL. if not development replacement for the OG. Zack Martin, G/OT, Notre Dame not the size you want but the kid can block Corey Robinson*, OT, South Carolina size and athleticism to work with Morgan Moses, OT, Virginia my Mr. Under rated for the 2014 draft Cameron Fleming*, OT, Stanford sound all the way around. but you might get what you see. upside? Wesley Johnson, OT, Vanderbilt plug and play player all up and down the line. always need these types moving up in round 1 is not an option in my book |
