Payton politely took issue with it and then started gushing about Jenkins. It was way too much praise to simply be sticking up for one of your guys. At least I heard it that way. It sure as hell shut Bobby up about Jenkins. It reminded me of the Will Smith praise we hear from the front office. We found out that wasn't just yanking our chains. And trust me, I think Jenkins is our 3rd, maybe 4th best safety behind Vaccaro, Harper and even Bush. |
