Re: 2014 NFL Draft
Kenny Stills? He's on the roster; Lance in the slot?!? We've got a good krewe at WR though I agree we need to have that fifth receiver developing and Toon can't seem to get the consistency/catchy thing going...

Re: 2014 NFL Draft
Believe me I really like Stills, just drove out to Gulfport for a signing with him and Kenny Vaccaro, but our other guys are starting to get up there in age and lose the edge they used to have. Meachem, Moore, and Colston are all right at 30 and I believe the between Meachem and Moore one of them isn't coming back to us this off-season. I want to see how we do with Morgan back, but for now I think you are right and we need a fifth receiver to develop.

Drew's arm strength and accuracy need a closer assessment; it's not just the receivers coming back for the deep ball either; of the curl routes for Colston, the ball was thrown to the wrong side of his body, taking away the advantage Colston briefly had and allowed the Seahawk defenders to make a play... Not opposed to taking another receiver late in the draft for development; you can never have too many good handed WR or fleet-footed CB; I really like Jeff Janis of Saginaw Valley State College in the fourth round... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
