Tons of people seem to have us taking Scott Chrichton from Oregon State in the first round. Who the hell is this guy and why is he such a popular choice for us in the first round?? I never heard of him until recent mock drafts.

He's another "Tweener" Defender - Small Defensive End, Oversized OLB type...compares best to Elvis Dumervil type of player...at the college level he used elite quickness to slip by tackles for sacks, tackles for loss...

Chrichton, Michael Sam and Dee Ford have some obvious risk for a first, second rounder as they're great players in a one-trick pony role...

Questions...

Because of their size, they will be limited at point of attack, will they still have their speed advantage vs athleticism of NFL tackles?

How many years, two-three, before they slow down and that's gone?!?

I see a similar situation as Miami's No. 3 overall pick Dion Jordan; slapped into a DE role, his speed advantage is not what it was in college and he's struggled...

Look at our 2013 NFL draft and the example of the impact a first round pick can have...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
