(On the game)
“That was pretty ugly. Obviously, it is a disappointing loss, extremely disappointing. I though in all three areas we didn’t play well at all. Obviously we didn’t get them ready to play, we looked flat coming out. I take responsibility for that. Much has been written about how we play on the road and how we play at home and you know what? That is where it is right now with this season. We come out here with a lot at stake having played an important game last week and we can’t line up and kick a field goal, we can’t get the run stopped, we turned the ball over. We did everything we talked about that you can’t do to get a road win. We knew that this team would present some tough challenges with protection and still with that being said, how we played today is unacceptable and that is on me.”

(On moving T Zach Strief to left tackle)
“I saw enough. I saw enough, period. It was enough penalties, pressures, sacks, it was enough. At some point you can’t just keep watching it. Feelings get hurt, it is tough.”

(On revisiting the move at tackle)
“I don’t think now is the time to discuss it.”

(On being concerned about K Garrett Hartley)
“Yes, not just his kicking, I am concerned about a lot of things. I am concerned about our protection, I am concerned about our inability to be consistent in regards to running the football and our ability to defensively stop the rushing team. All of those things are cause for concern. The first kick that is blocked I think is low, the second kick he pulls it left.”

I don't think this can be fixed this year. They are a hot and cold team at best. When it is crunch time they don't know how to show up. Anyone still think we can take Seattle on at their place?

Absolutely, because no one beats us; we always beat ourselves.
You almost never hear 'that was a hard fought loss'.

Wow, I've never heard him rip a player like this before.

You're not kidding. That dude is done here. If I was on the roster he'd put ME in 'just because'. Wow!

I think Sean just answered the question about which position we upgrade first and foremost this off-season.

Loomis, Pace and Reiprish are updating their lists.

Yes.

You said it yourself. They're hot and cold. If they get hot, they can beat anybody. If they're cold, they get beat by the 5-8 Rams. Gotta hope they can focus on fixing the little stuff and get hot at the right time. That's what most Super Bowl runs are. A team getting hot at the right time.
