The Lions can't catch us now since they lost. The Bears/Packers play a game so one of them have another loss.

The Packers can't catch us and we have tie breaker on the Bears.

We also have the tie breaker on both the 40Whiners and Cardinals.

So, can someone explain to me why we haven't clinched a spot yet? My brain hurts.

Bingo. Of course that would require the 40Whiners to beat the Falcons. Then 3 NFC West teams in the playoffs. Wow.

But the Cards and 49ers play each other, so one of those teams will be 11-5. If we win one of our next two the Cards can't catch us, but they can knock out the 49ers.

Seems like all the teams in the hunt play each other

NO- 10-4 (plays CAR and TB)
CAR 10-4 (plays NO and ATL)
SF 10-4 (plays ATL and AZ)
AZ 9-5 (plays SF and SEA)

NO has tie breakers over AZ and SF, so one win and one of them is out.

CAR can be bumped out at 10-6 if AZ finishes 10-6 and SF at 11-5.

We get bumped only by losing our last two, and AZ wins their last two.
