The sports 'experts' diss the Saints for playing better at home than on the road, and the PEDhawks are doing the exact same!!

The PEDhawks are averaging 32 points a game at home (same as the Saints)

On the road they are averaging 23 points on the road, (the Saints are averaging 18)
Because the Seahawks are not 0-3 on the road in the playoffs like the Saints are under Coach Payton
Because the Seahawks are not 2-6 in games below 40 degrees
Because the Seahawks just beat the Giants 23-0 in a game they didn't need to win, and the Saints got completely embarrassed and dismantled by the Rams in a game that could have won them home field
Because the very stat you cite about points per game, shows that one is a good team on the road and the other is not -- 23 is GOOD, 18 is middling to mediocre -- of the top 3 or 4 playoff teams in each conference, can you name any others who score that little, on the road - most are in the mid 20s.
Because the Saints lost to the Jets and the Panthers blew out the Jets
Seahawks are better in point differential of victory on the road -- they win by more points and lose by less
Seahawks are better on 3rd down defense on the road
Seahawks are better on turnovers on the road

I could go on but thankfully I'll stop. You keep pumping the sunshine about the Saints as a road team, and the fact is that THIS YEAR they are just NOT a very good team on the road, in fact they're barely average. There's simply nothing scary or intimidating about them once you take them out of the Superdome. Do you think the Panthers are SCARED of the Saints right now? They're not. They're licking their chops. We'll see if Payton can right the ship and get it going.

Until the Saints win some convincing games on the road (and I hope they do) the label will stick.

**Since 2006, on the road in the playoffs, the PEDhawks are 1-4; their only road playoff win was @ Washington in 2012

Since 2006, Seattle is 1-4 in road playoff games; their only win being in Washington in 2012

Yes. 1-4 is better than 0-3! The Saints have something to prove, and until they prove it, facts are facts.

If the Saints were 1-4 in road playoff games the same thing would be said.

Also, 3 of their 4 road playoff losses were in cold weather; twice @ the Bears and once @ Green Bay, so IMO that shoots holes in the 'Saints can't win in cold weather games' argument.

No it wouldn't. Why do you think it would? Do they still say "the Saints can't win a Super Bowl" about us, now that we've won one? Of course not, because it's NOT TRUE. Until the Saints win a road playoff game, or do better than a 2-6 record in cold weather (correct me if I'm wrong, that's the last number I had), these things will be said about the Saints, and they will be CORRECT.

Also, saying "the Saints can't win in cold weather" is NOT disproved, by proving that the Seahawks are actually better in cold weather, than the Saints. Which you just did. Seattle has a better road record in the playoffs than the Saints, period end of story.

I don't consider seattle's one road playoff win that much better than the Saints.
