Re: Starting Armstead - Good move?
He will put out the effort. For whatever reason, it looked like Brown wasn't against the Rams. He wasn't just out-talented, he was out-worked. You don't have to be great to keep the defenders of Drew. But, you have to be willing to scratch and claw and battle. TA will do that.

I would say that if Armstead started out of the blue then he is playing good consistent football. If he is started because Brown is having issues; while he may be playing better ball than Brown, he is starting because he is the lessor of two evils. |
Re: Starting Armstead - Good move?
Cutting Hartley & Carr benching Brown & starting Armstead. Where are the rest of the moves to improve the Saint's team. DLP is absolutely horrible and White couldn't cover a baby with a blanket. The moves that were made may have been necessary but what about the ones that needed to be made and weren't.

You could not be more wrong about White. He's gonna be a quality starter for us for a long time. His occasional mistakes are correctable. |

Brown got benched because he played badly and we have a young promising LT on the roster who the coaches think gives us a better chance to win. But if you wanna bench DLP go right ahead. I'm sure there's a probowl Center waiting on his couch for someone to call and sign him. |
Re: Starting Armstead - Good move?
Dunno as usual I don't agree with a damn thing you have to say.
