What if the Payton said lets not show Seattle anything in our bag of tricks, lets play stupid so when we face them again in Seattle they get cocky and throw us a bone.

I doubt Payton, or any coach, would intentionally not win any game, especially if that win would open up the possibility of a #1 seed.

I thought before the game whoever won that one would not win the one in the playoffs. It's hard to beat a good team like the Saints twice. Especially when that team got embarrassed like ours did.

Hint. Both teams met in 2009
