Nope, the 49ers would have the tie breaker on them for the division title.

Division winners claim seeds 1 thru 4, then wildcards at 5 and 6.

Its the new debate floating around.

Hypothetically you could have an 11-5 Wildcard team have to go on the road in the playoffs and play a 7-9 division winner and get beat 41-36. Hypothetically of course.
