Our boys have a chance to make a statement here with a win.
Let's hope they follow through because the odds are certainly stacking up against them... |

Re: Weather forecast not too bad Sunday's game @ Carolina
I lived in Charlotte for a few years and their climate is about the same as it is here. I'm not worried about their crowd one bit. I must admit that overall their fan base is pretty class act to be around but they are pretty much fair weather fans. If the Panthers are losing they can't even give their tickets away. I went to several games free because of this. Most of their population are transplants, in fact I was there for a year before I met someone who was actually from there. Most of their fans are really fans of other teams but have adopted the Panthers as their second team. We get ahead early and they are out of the game. We get two scores ahead by the half and they start hitting the exits.
Like I said though I went to several games there every year to watch them get beat just for the fun of it and their fans are very nice and welcoming. Their stadium is pretty awesome too. They have hidden bathrooms all over the place that are private with one toilet and a door that locks and a big screen tv. No stall or anything. You can go in, lock the door, sit down and do your business and watch the game lol. Very clean too. |

Great, we got the bathroom recon. We're set. I just hope their fan base doesn't show because of the rain.

At least the rain will mitigate any crowd noise. I doubt any will poke their heads above their umbrellas to complain.

Re: Weather forecast not too bad Sunday's game @ Carolina
To me, this has been a lot like Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest -- I'll worry terribly about the weather for a few days before, tremendous anxiety, white knuckles, checking the forecast constantly. When is the front coming through, is it gonna rain, is it gonna be cold, will there be wind, is it gonna suck? But then by the night before, usually it's all burnt out of me and I'm calm, and ready for anything, just bring it on....that's how I feel about it.

Well, this was a heavy rain at BOA stadium. Notice not too many fans in the stands. So much for crowd noise. LOL.
