this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; When Ingram has looked good it's been because he was running through holes as big as an open barn door. If you have to feed the guy the ball 15 times before he warms up you'll be down two TDs ...

Re: How do you feel about mark ingram now?
When Ingram has looked good it's been because he was running through holes as big as an open barn door. If you have to feed the guy the ball 15 times before he warms up you'll be down two TDs and have to abandon the run anyway.
This isn't 1977 when 20 points in a game was a lot and both teams were trying to ram the ball down the opponents throats and WRs were getting the crap beat out of them all the way down the field and the good QBs were completing maybe 50% of their passes. If you can't make one guy miss or break one tackle you're not a good RB and I haven't seen where Ingram can do either on a regular basis. |

Reggie Bush had 1 1000 yard rushing season, but I don't another small elusive back. I want a smash mouth pounder.

Then he has great hands. He reminds me of Marshal Faulk i wounder if he trained the same way in the off season? does any one out there remember it? granted the story was early on in his career |
