They could still easily lose out
They have to play Arizona and the Rams and weirder stuff has happened. Arizona is scratching it's way to a wild card spot and they get Fitzgerald back. Their defense is pretty scrappy and Palmer is more than capable.
The Rams on the other hand have absolutely nothing to play for which can make them even more dangerous. They have nothing to play for and can afford to gamble and play high risk high reward type football. They swept Seattle last year. Both are division opponents so everyone is gonna play tough and give all they got. If this happens and the Whiners win out we get the 1 seed as long as we win out. Easy enough. |

perhaps in your feeble, disloyal perspective...
but back here in reality, two dat. on any given sunday... any game would have a different result, if replayed another sunday. count on it. try to comprehend that. |

Re: They could still easily lose out
Would SF be the #2 in that scenario?

Re: They could still easily lose out
If we all end up tied at 12-4 (Seattle, Saints, 49ers), then we are #1, SF is #2 and Seattle is #5

Seattle won the last game against St.Louis last year, they did not get swept.

Re: They could still easily lose out
But I doubt a team is gonna lose back to back at home to two teams who are clearly inferior.

Re: They could still easily lose out
Improbable, I don't think so. They already lost to the 49ers and these last two teams are dangerous in the sense that one has everything to play for and the other has proved that no playoffs means nothing to them. Seattle is in a tough spot. They can't take the foot off the gas, same for a lot of teams including us. This is not even close to over with.

Re: They could still easily lose out
Not probable but still very much possible. Nobody thought we would lose the last 3 games the year we won the Super Bowl either.
