Darren Sharper said that the team suggested they practice outside
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He was talking about the team during the two years that he was with the Saints. He said that Coach Payton didn't want to practice outside. I bet if we lose this game -- the Saints will be practicing outdoors ...

He was talking about the team during the two years that he was with the Saints. He said that Coach Payton didn't want to practice outside. I bet if we lose this game -- the Saints will be practicing outdoors in Alaska.
But, look, we beat the Bucs outside, this year, in the rain. We beat the Bears outside in October. We can definitely do this. Just need to want it. If we get down -- we need to stay confident and focused. |

Watched it but what he said is no real insight. Home teams win 59% of the time in the NFL. It's harder to win on the road. Not sure what he was saying but it sounded like he wanted to practice outside for the sake of practicing outside. He didn't say they didn't practice outdoors if an outside game was coming up.
