Kept leaning on the D. Offense needed to step up. They didn't.

Re: Saints vs Panzies Game Day Thread

Team Loss...

Bad Playcalling...

Poor Effort on Returns by Sproles...

Drew needs to give a huge refund on his MVP contract...

Harper was asked to play coverage...

Jenkins con BS Bowtie and Glasses can explain why he can't tackle...

No commitment to run the ball...

Inability by Lofton to cover a tight end...

Wuss effort by wide receivers to get off the line and maintain their timing routes...

And we're stuck with what we saw today because of some bad contracts, oh yes, we're stuck with this product for the next two years...

I never thought it would come to this but I'll be cheering for the falcons next week. That's the only way we win the division at this point

Can't believe that King Don-eatin Curt Menefee and other moronic talking heads are gonna hang the laurels on Sham Newton - he choked as bad as Brees today...

A scripted bad punt and Roman Harper asked to cover gave it to the Panthers today...

That was a frikkin replay of the Pats game. The D just payed down with 90 seconds left.

loss is 100% on Payton, just like the loss at the Pats. How do we learn NO lessons from previous losses?!?!

Unreal. Tank next week to avoid injuries, get a better draft pick and hope for better next year.

vomit.

The Kenny Vaccaro injury was huge...and for all ya'll Roman Harper apologists, now you see the difference when Vaccaro is in and when Harper is in...even Inspector Clouseau can show that the case'd is solve'd...

Re: Saints vs Panzies Game Day Thread

Well boys that's that... And people still wonder why some of us were upset that Payton stripped Carmichael of play calling duties. Payton had some kind of "enlightening" time while he was suspended and he took over play calling duties. Payton did an awful job.

SP ain't got a magic touch anymore.
Sure the D blew 2 Panthers drives. But that was it.
The O should have turned up with execution whre we needed it.

You really don't follow the team much do you?

When Seattle beats the Cards we are in the Play Offs.

Re: Saints vs Panzies Game Day Thread

I wish people would stop blaming Jenkins. He was picked up by Williams and was bumped away from Newton so there is not a lot he could have done. Payton's calling was lame, Drew held on to the ball for too long at times and the final punt by Morestead really didn't aid the cause. I am not putting blame on Defense as they had done their job all day. If the offense was up to par, we would have taken them down. Anyway, annoyed but not going to cry about it. We will not hit the Superbowl with this kind of display. All the WhoDats, try and have a Happy Holiday. Maybe the Seahawks will do us a favour.

He can't tackle.... Defend away. If you can convince me he can tackle you are a better defender than he is.

Congrats Payton... You're enlightened arrogance cost us this season. I don't see any reason why Carmichael would stick around now that Payton took over play calling duties. Carmichael was only the play caller when we fielded the most prolific offense in the history of the NFL. I'm sorry, but Payton supposedly sat back for a season and learned... Well, so much for that. Cue Danno calling me a fair weather fan LOL. This was the most shaky offense that we've fielded in a while. "Fair weather fan!!!" Go ahead.
