We win when we play complimentary football, this game was a tough loss but we shouldn't have laid that egg in St. Louis last week*.

You can't make that comparison because we didn't have Brees. You think Brooks would have made Payton look good.. lol

yet again a awful argument, or the lack of an argument... next

Well my 11-5 prediction is down to the final game. I really don't like the thought of 10-6, Caddieman will be on our site all year gloating. Go Saints Go!!

You apparently have no clue what you are talking about; Sean was the one who wanted Brees and G.W... Even to the fact of giving up 250,000 a year to get G.W. signed...

Were you *****ing about the play-calling in '09? You're just a whiny spoiled bandwagon fan

Yes 09 when our D was the #1 scoring Defense in the league (scoring for us)...

You're side stepping the argument. Payton is not the GM....

Carmichael is the better play caller. Do you agree or not?

Doesn't matter what clowns say on this board. Ill continue to base my opinions off of stats. You disagree that the record setting OC shouldn't take the play calling over ... really? You can admit you are wrong its ok.

Yup, pretty choked. We played decent football in the second half, but we should have ran away with this one. Shades of NE all over again, makes me sick but I think I'm gonna have to drink some turpentine to bring my IQ down to the level of a typical ATL fan for next week.

Re: 10-5

Tough loss, we outplayed them offensively. Defenses were both really good today. Saints made the more costly mistakes and it cost them.

Re: 10-5

Carolina has been on a big winning streak, but Atlanta should play them tough. Still possible we sneak into the #2 seed assuming we beat TB.

Re: 10-5

ATL could get the win.. they are at home.

I still like the opportunity to go on the road and win in the playoffs. It's unlikely, but if we won it all from the 5th seed how awesome would that be?

I'll ask again, were you *****ing about the play calling in '09 when we won the Super-Bowl? If not, you're just like every other; whining after a loss... :whatever:

Nope. I have been talking about Carmichael all season. Like I said the D scored points for us which inflated our scoring numbers. Yet again you fail to stay on course and argue any point....

403 YPG in 09

467 YPG in 2011... ok lol

I'd like to point out that there was plenty of groaning last year about play-calling, especially WRT overly predictable plays when Ingram was in the backfield. Payton has shown a habit of getting too cute though, but Carmichael did put up yards and TDs.

Re: 10-5

To me our O-line needs help, they need to give Brees more time to throw and our recievers need to get off the line much, much better. Our O is not the juggernotts we once were, just face the facts. Our D has played well enough to keep us upright most of the year. Payton will fix this next season, 2011 Saints O was scary, 2013 Saints O is just scared. I'm personally glad to have made it this far. Oh, I think Stills is going to be a stud next season, we will need a reciever in the draft to complement Stills and O-line help is a must.

9-2 to 10-5.... wow

We could end up 10-6 after starting 9-2; collapse!!

Re: 10-5

Atlanta will not roll over on the Panthers... They do not like Scam as much as the Saints dislike him! They would love to be the ones who knock the Panthers out of the Division title....but the way the Panthers are playing defense it is going to be very hard for Atlanta to get a win... The Saints actually outplayed the Panthers today so it was a good try... They just got hot there at the end and that is what counts. We will probably see tj again in the second round of the playoffs. Payton needs to run the ball more and play like there is no tomorrow... Which there isn't if you lose in the playoffs. It is going to be very hard for any NFC team to go into Seattle and win a playoff game there!!!next year we get Seattle at home during the regular season!!!!good game... Just came up short today!

So in other words; you didn't jump on the bandwagon until after we won the Super-Bowl... You sure keep dodging the question, Super-Bowl > Record Book

Why are you arguing about me? What relevance does that have? You are just covering the fact you're wrong and don't have the fortitude to admit it. I accept your previous statement as conceding the point. Thanks for playing.

2 losses..
1 game left regular season.
We just need to get hot at the right time. 5th and 6th seeds can win SuperBowls.
Go Seahawks over Cards.

I asked if you were *****ing about the play-calling in '09 when we won the SB. You repeatedly dodged the question posting stats...

Is it the play-calling or the execution, your opinion of the better play-caller has a lot to do with relying on others...

If they work, everyone loves the play. When they don't we get whiners like yourself...

The play calling in 09 was good. We had yet to see anything better; Carmichael didn't take over until 2011.

This year Payton's play calling has been the worst we have seen (since 2005). Is there any debate there?

Who do you think is the better play caller: Payton or Carmichael?

I just read your posts in this topic and maybe he is calling out your fandom because you sound like a fan from another team trolling this bulletin board. The way you flip out is kind of embarrassing if you really are a Saints fan. It really makes it hard to take you seriously.

The inflection you get from reading is your perspective. I am calm as can be I assure you of that. I enjoy debate. When I post something controversial on this board everyone chimes in and starts name calling, however when you start to debate the issue everyone leaves. Name calling is a fallacy and a sign of a weak argument. Put thought into your posts and make them interesting. I do find it ironic you don't take me seriously but conversely are taking the side calling people names seriously.

Perfect example see above ^

Re: 10-5

Sadly this game came down to the final 1:54 where just like the New England game, the Saints could not run the clock out. If we pick up a first down... the game is over. I did not read through all 8 pages of comments, but again to me this is not on the defense or Malcolm Jenkins total whiff on a potential sack of Newton on the TD pass to Hixon. The defense never should have been put in the position they were in.

No matter how poorly Armsted played, which he was not good. This offense should not have as many problems as they've had inside of two minutes trying to run out the clock.

I don't think there is any other way to say it... this as bad a loss that this team could have, considering the situation.

They had one more shot at controlling their own destiny today against a team they clobbered two weeks ago and they choked. Since a 5-0 start, the Saints are 5-5 in their last 10 games. It was a bad loss. It was a costly loss. Is all hope lost on the 2013 season? Of course not. But, the fat lady is humming.
