Season ended with 1:02 and a punt
No excuses for this offense - which by the way made 40+ yards and a couple of firsts at the very end - not to be able to get one flaming first down.
Season is in its death throws now. What a waste after such a promising start - makes me want to puke. NO WAY Atlanta helps us out - don't even invest any thought in it. Even if they were able to somehow dig the talent out of their rears, they will tank on purpose just to spite us. So look for us to back into the playoffs when the Seahawks take care of business this afternoon and we BACK into the playoffs. Then we can give everyone the week off next week vs Tampa so they will be fresh for egg laying on the road the next week in Philly/Chicago/Dallas/Detroit/whoever. No way this team will be any more than 1 and done having to do it all on the road... |

Saints aren't ready for the playoffs. I can't believe I think this. But it is what it is.

Nope - you don't piss away TWO chances to clinch the #2 seed.

Agree you got to get a first down in that situation, but that is a real good defense.

I thought payton would have learned something
He did the exact same thing in the patriots and jets games, with exactly the same outcome |

Dallas winning East and us getting #5 seed is our ONLY shot at a road playoff win...
