This isn't last year anymore. We have our coach back and we even have a defense. The offense has been a massive failure this year, sucking in every single road game that I can remember.

Payton is supposed to be the offensive mastermind, and there haven't been any significant injuries to make excuses. That's why his play calling, and the horrible play of Brees and the O-line on the road all season have been so disappointing.

I'm not calling for a firing or anything, but I think the frustration is more than justified at this point. If it were any other team with this kind of talent playing this way, everyone on here would be mocking them. But whenever there is a dissenting opinion on the Saints an online version of a riot ensues.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

What's wrong is that Payton put the entire team on notice last Sunday evening, and hasn't once since Seattle said a word about play call, preparation, or adjustments.
Somebody get the guy a mirror. We lost to the Pats the EXACT same way: two possessions with the lead with less than 5 minutes and no first downs. F$#@ing figure it out
